Pre Requirements:
- Browsers/OS (for QR scanning)
- Best performing: MacOS w/Chrome or Android OS w/ Chrome has the best performance
- Other working: MacOS w/safari, Windows10 w/Chrome, Android w/ Firefox, IoS w/Safari
- Not supported: Windows10 w/IE.
- All browsers work for other functions such as administration, and manual (non-qr code) pilot code entry.
- LiveTime Scoring Engine: This is the only timing system to date that pulls the rounds from MultiGP on demand. However the API’s are available for any system to integrate with ZippyQ.
Configuring ZippyQ:
Schedule : ZippyQ
Pack Limit: Maximum Number of races the pilot can fly in this event.
- ZippyQ Depth-> This is the number of times the pilot can be in the line.
- Allow Pilot Devices to Q : Allows pilots to join the queue using their mobile devices.
- Rest Between Rounds: Number of rounds to ‘skip’ if a pilot joins the Q multiple times. (prevents back to back rounds)
- Check Pilots: specify a raceId. Only allow pilots to Q in, if they have joined the race specified. If 0, then any pilot may join.
- ZippyQ Manual Controls: Useful if there is no timing system and freestyle events. This allows the race organizer to manually start the next round, enter scores, and even jump to previous rounds already run. The scores update is compatible with the Aggregate Laps format.
If you have not configured a chapter API Key, you will need to do so.. In Chapter configuration, select the ‘Timing System key‘ menu option.
