1st running of the SPRING Session GQ track

Come out for our first running of this year's Spring Session Global Qualifier!!!

PILOT REQUIREMENTS:

$10 Pilot Entry Fee. Pilots are required to have an active AMA Membership.

Race Format:

Each pilot will be allowed 10 timed qualifier heats. A minimum of 3 pilots per heat are required.

2 Minute Race time starts at the tone, but your lap time starts when you cross the Start/Finish gate.

When the 2 minute timer is up, you are allowed to finish your lap.

The Leaderboard is deteremined by your fastest 3 Consecutive Laps.

VTX CHANNELS:

The plan will be to have heats of 3 or 4 pilots to reduce chances of mid-air collisions.
For this reason, we will be using the following VTX Channels:

• Raceband 1: 5658MHz

• Raceband 2: 5695MHz

• Raceband 6: 5843Mhz

• Raceband 7: 5880Mhz

We recommend using a Circular Polarized Antenna if possible, but for this race LH and RH are allowed on all race channels.

We will be using the ZippyQ system to build the heats so you get to determine when you are ready to race.

TECH CHECK includes:

• Verifying VTX Channel and 25mw Output Power

• Testing RX Failsafe

• Verifying Current AMA Membership

Items to Bring:

• Folding Chair (We have folding tables, but not many chairs)

• Quads/Props/Tools/Batteries/Etc. (Everything you need to fly)

• Battery Charger and Extension Cord (We do have power at the field)

ITENERARY

6 PM - Track setup

7 PM - Tech Check Begins

7:30 - Pilot Briefing

7:45 - 11:00 - Between 2 and 5 Practice/Warm-Up Rounds before beginning the official qualifier timed heats.
